I want to join two boards at a 45. I've cut both at 22 1/2 so that they will make a 45. These are 3/4" boards. I've looked at the video's that come with the K4 but they don't talk about the depth setting or lenght of screw. Naturally, I can do some trial and error, but I was hoping someone would have a technique worked out already.

I've seen this video but what I can't figure out is how to set the depth. Even though the material is 3/4 inch, you don't actually have that much material to work with because of the angle.

FYI - The images (below the video) on the page I linked discuss compensating for the lost thickness.
