Beautiful design.Very nice work.A headboard is a classic piece of furniture, whose enduring popularity is ensured due to its useful function, durability and aesthetic value.

Thanks Ron the headboard measures 83'' wide and the posts are 52'' by 3 1/2'' square the center is 26'' above the floor and 25'' wide. It was an expereince cutting the stiles that were 70'' long on my little router table. It was even harder cutting the ends for the stiles. that's what is great about wood working you are always learning something new.

Thanks guy's, The balls came from Rockler, although I can see a lathe somewhere in the near future. I'm just running out of room in my basement.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
