I created a quick video on what I do to protect my tablesaw. I like to put a lite cover of Johnson paste wax across the top of it. Check out the video or read more about it over at: www.woodlogger.com

I use Turtle wax too on my cast iron tables. I need to try the 409 trick,I have a table saw blade that sure could use it. Thanks for the tip!

I use turtle wax. It is really slick after I apply it to my table saw's top.  I got another tip that I got from a reader in Wood magazine.  I use 409 spray with a 5 gallon bucket lid  and soak my saw blades for about an hour to get the sap and crap off the blades. Then I spray Wd-40 to protect the blade from rust. It sure saves on going to the store for saw blades.

Miter Saw Recommendation

I’m looking to upgrade my miter saw. I’m willing to invest a good amount of money to get one with the precision pocket hole joinery requires. Would anyone like to offer a recommended model?

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Not Pleased With Pocket Hole Construction

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction.  I have considerable experience with conventional…
