I really like the HITACHI I have it's accurate and when on sale priced right. This model C12RSH has laser and takes up a lot less floor space because you can set it right against the wall. The slide can be setup so it doesnt project back behind the saw. The laser can be set quickly on either side of the blade with a simple turn of a knob and no batteries to fool with, I can see the line in the daylight as well.

I researched for a while before I settled on this saw. You should check out saws at your local tool store and check reviews before deciding.

ho OK , I ask because I am looking to buy a miter saw for my woodworking shop. I looked at yours thinking in the promotion I saw from the HItachi. So I guess must be good. Bottom line is there any miter saw that you personally will recommend to any one? Me...

No it's the next model down with the laser, I read a couple reviews where the digital had issues.
