HI Bill , one other thing you may want to check is that the collar is set on the 3/4 " mark on the end towards the tip of the bit , JIM !!
HI BILL , The Images and the post by the Kreg Rep. should work with your K3 , the only other thing you may want to check is the true thickness of the board and make sure the little lip,s on the slider are hooked on the out side edge of the board when you drill the holes , if you have every thing set as per Images in post it should work and hold , JIM !!
HI BILL , Also welcome back , did not get many of them when we came back !!! Sending you some pics. and info. on the cordless driver,s I use !!! The one is a snap on MD. # CTS - 561 and the other one is a Craftsman Nextec MD . # 320,17562, they both get into tight places !! Was in the 199 TH . 3 RD and 7 TH. , 68 to 69 , Have a good day and hope this helps , JIM !!
HI Bill , also a Vietnam vet , did you drill the pocket hole on both end,s of the shelf,s ? If so they do make a short driver bit , and you can also use a 1/4 " ratchet and socket to put the screw,s in the left side , also they make some smaller cordless driver,s that will help you out , craftsman dose have a few that are not to expensive , hope this helps you out , thanks for your service , JIM !!
