After buying a flat panel 37" TV, our existing entertainment center had to go. Pricing new ones was discouraging. They cost almost as much as the TV! So I got the ok from my wife to build one. As I posted on the forum I ran into some trouble drilling the pocket screws into the oak faceframe. The screws caused bulges and a few poked through! Tim, great to see photos of your TV stand. the project is really coming together. I wanted to also pass along a tip to you. I think you can 'edit' your original blog post to add images to it instead of adding them individually as 'comments'. To do this, just look for the 'edit' button on your original post. Then, once you get all of the photos done, make sure to upload them to the 'photos' section and make an 'album'.
