How did you learn about the Kreg Owners' Community?
What's one interesting fact about you, your life, your garage, shop, or home?
Now live at the western base of Mt. Hood. Outside of fixing up two homes on the property and building out a shop (slower than hoped), I enjoy fishing and hiking with a blend of photography thrown in. Additionally, I enjoy cooking and grilling on my Weber.
I bought a mylar stencil that would fit the size of my box side. I took Titebond glue and mixed it with water in a throw away cup to the consistency it would drip if i took a shim and put some of the mix on it. I then taped the stencil on the piece of wood with blue tape prior to assembling and put the glue on the stencil very lightly but covering the whole stencil. It dried within and hour so I pulled off the stencil and sanded with a fine sanding block to get the high points of the glue off. Once that was done I stained over the glue area and other pieces and assembled the box. I am sure you can do the same with paint. Thanks
