It's been a while since I've pulled out my own drafting tools...I sure love to draft plans manually, wish I had a bit more time for personal drafting/building!  As it stands I spend more time drawing plans for others..good thing I love it so much! hehehe

Hi Jens
Sorry for the delayed response, but was out of town. I live out on Camano. Saw the ad for the Kreg Jig and thought woodworking might be a fun new hobby so I am giving it a try.

They may as well be armor plated; Gun turrets would be appropriate.

Sorry it took so long to answer. I don't get on my computer very often. I do like this sight alot. I've been enjoying everyones pics of their projects. I just recently bought the small pocket hole jig and love it. Once I get more experience, I'll step up to the nicer model. Thanks to you and everyone else for sharing your photos and experiences.

Jens Jensen, It has several coats of a satin gloss lacquer with a catalyst hardner in it. Leaves an almost velvet feel to the wood. I had previously built the customer, of whom this is built for, a complets set of kitchen cabinets as well as bath cabinets for their new home. The other cabinets were of a calico hickory with granite counter tops. Then they requested pine cabinets for the master bedroom and bath. These were also finished in the same fashion. The Hutch was an after thought that they had wanted for the family room located just off the kitchen and wanted something that would contrast with the kitchen cabinets. The granite on the cupboard matches the kitchen counter tops. Thanks for your interest. jay Salem Oregon

Jens, to add photos to an old album, you'll need to go to the album you want to add the new photos to, click 'edit album' or 'add photos to album'. I'm not sure right now, but its something very similar to that.

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, we are neighbors. I live off the Fire trail.
Pocket plug jig will come in handy, I'm sure. I'll be able to make plugs to match what ever wood I'm using.

Thanks, Linda

Jens,

Thanks for the welcome. I've been in NJ for my entire life, 57 years, and waiting for my wife to retire in a few years to make a final move to PA. We just built a barn there and lately we have been purchasing tools for our future woodworking hobby. I can't wait for spring so we can spend some time up there making workbenches.

Jens, so you built it yourself? It is a perfect size to fill up with tools and music. I can't wait to set up my work shop. I am still dreaming about it.

Take care and have fun building.
