Well I just had my birthday and my lovely wife went out and picked me up a little something.

I just put my old Relaint drill press up on Craigs List and hopefully it will find itself a nice new home.

Hey Kerry I just went to look at a drill press on craigs list looks like the one you got for your birthday a couple years ago. It retails for $400 he wants $250 never been used and looks like it he also had bought the stand to put it on so its like floor model. Would you consider that a good deal?

Sounds like you need to go to drill press school to learn how to run it .This is one tool I do need. All I have for drill press is on of those bench top portable units that Craftsman made long time ago that you put a 1/2 drill motor on.It works pretty good but of limited .

wife has good taste
Happy 39th

Well, things it does that my old drill press didn't... it drills a hole without the chuck falling off the spindle half way through.....

The table is also Rack and Pinion, a vast improvement over my old table. It has a laser cross hair for where the drill bit should touch down. It also has a 2" travel on the chuck, my older one was about 1 1/2".

So what does it do that a "ordinary" drill press doesn't?

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
