New cabinets for my workshop's "Tool Crib"

Over the recent holiday break I got out my hand dandy Kreg Jig and built 16 linear feet of tool storage cabinets for my workshop's "Tool Crib".

Here are the base units. Notice the pocket holes in the drawers;

Here are the upper units;

Here are the units painted and installed looking down the room to the left. Notice the pocket holes up under the cabinets;

And here is the cabinets looking the other way;

My 77 year-old father-in-law helped and fell in love with the Kreg Jig.

Thanks for looking!

Can you share the height dimensions that you used for the bottom cabinet drawers and spacing? They seem perfect for any garage or shop.

Wow! Those are great cabinets. I've been putting off mine, because I couldn't come up with a
layout that seemed to work. You just settled that for me. Thanks

Randy, that's scary good! Excellent craftsmanship. Now I'm depressed and intimidated. Thanks and lot! LOL

Bruce, I used regular 1" clear pine that I pulled from the cull pile. It takes a little time, but it saves you a lot of money in the long run.

I am glad St. Patrick's Day is in a couple days because I just turned green.

Excellent job. I'm actually starting on a similar but much smaller project, and you've given me good ideas. Did you use the plywood for the drawer sides as well as the cabinets? I can't tell from the pictures. Good wood for drawer sides hasn't been easy for me to find.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
