As soon as I got back to the shop with the tool, I inverted my 71/4 circle saw and adjusted the tool. I set the guide arm so that it was just inside the teeth on the blade. My blade has staggered teeth. Then I drew my cut line. I then set the guide arm just inside the mark, bingo! Just what I wanted. There is one other thing that I did. The stock was firmly clamped. There is 10 rubber feet on the tool. I set the tool in place, fired up one of my KREG clamps, and, firmly but gently clamped the tool to the stock. Great cut and no damage to the guide arm or the Square Cut itself. Like most others, I use the Starrett measuring equipment so I am comfortable with what I am seeing. The result for me, a square cut and both hands free to operate and control my saw. As far as speed was concerned, I probably lost a few seconds at best. The quality of the cut is my bottom line. I am not suggesting anything to anyone, I'm merely sharing my results of an invaluable tool. Thanks All! Buck Fleshner, Santa Rosa, CA. brfleshner@sbcglobal.net

I also purchased the square-cut tool works great, I like your idea buck i'll have to try it. Now Kreg tool has to come up with a angel true cut tool, with the same idea as the square cut. Hoe about Kreg Tools.

Buck, thanks for your great notes on the Square-Cut, I think many here will find them interesting and educational! I'm very glad the Square Cut worked and met your expectations... if you get a second, maybe you could copy/paste your thoughts over to the official Square Cut thread... here it is: http://kregjig.ning.com/forum/topics/squarecut-1

Thanks again, Buck! Great info.
