Kreg Owners' Community

My first project with the Kreg Jig was the work bench. I followed the plans without any real alterations. I chose this project for two reasons: 1) I had all the material(so I thought). 2) I was tired of working off the ground. It was pretty darn simple. The only problem was the woodworker on a super coffee high who couldn't slow down enough to change the jig for the bench top. I am not taking pictures of it, because it is just a work bench. I am still looking for my next project. I definatly need one that fits into my time and money schedule.

I hope to be back soon with another project.

hey Mike, I also welcome you to the community. This is a real friendly group of people that love to share information and ideas. Just start out small with your projects so that you don't get burned out or discouraged. I made a small work bench to hold my jig and give me a small work space then went to a larger table. I've made three different type of tables and small work stools and a couple of cabinets to go in the house in the bathroom. Just do what you have the tools and time for and you won't be stressing out and you will enjoy more of what you are making. Keep your jig up. Wallace
