What's one interesting fact about you, your life, your garage, shop, or home?: I've been a woodworker for 40 years, but only of "intermediate" skill when it comes to routers.

I recently decided that I was missing out on an important & essential tool. So, I'm just finishing the setup of my new Kreg Precision Router Table. I've got three routers, and I'm putting a Bosch 1617EVSPK in the table. I have been extremely impressed with the fine pro-quality of everything: Kreg's steel stand, casters, paddle switch, precision fence, micro-adjuster, feather boards, etc. (The instruction booklets are outstanding as well.)

This is going to be a fine & long overdue addition to my shop.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters. What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much. Thanks.Continue
