Hello Ryan, You asked about the corner unit and if it got painted. Yes it did, the fellow I built it for has automotive body finish experience and he painted it an "ultra- black" using automotive lacquer finish which works quite well on wood surface once you get the wood prep done with the sealing. The finish is very sleek and tough. He picked up here and took it home and finished it in his shop and installed it in his home. Being a floor to ceiling unit it was quite large, so I'm certainly glad that I built it in multiple pieces. What made it difficult was that it had to fit into a corner between two doors and the walls were not of equal width.

Thank you for the favorable comment on the building of it. jay of Salem Oregon

Thank you Ryan for your in put on the pine horse head hutch I have on my kreg jig page.

I have viewed your photos and projects as well and find that they are very well designed and constructed. You definately have some impressive talents. I also viewed your "cherrywood" site and must say it is well written, your style of writting makes it fasinating and keeps your attention to what it is saying.

Hope to see more of your projects in the near future. Respectfully , Jay Boutwell Salem Oregon

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
