Thanks Dan for the nice comment on the entertainment center. It was a fun one to build and it was finished by the customer in a automotive black lacquer of which was left semi- transparent allowing the wood grains to show through. This is one area not too often used in the finishing of wood projects. The use of automotive lacquer is expensive but gives you a whole new approach to colors and what you can do with them, like the pearlesence and of course the candy apple touches.
