Nice.. I hope to play with the dovetail jig here and there in the hopes of learning it. But Kreg is easyer, and strong... so it will win more times than not ,,,

Yea I didn't have the time to learn it either. My workbench was actually finished over a year ago. Held off on the drawers because I didn't know a good way to join them. The Kreg jig opened the door to make a drawer.

I reciently inheareted a Porter Cable dovetail jig. Having a hell of a time figuring it out. It will be fine on one side, but ga[pped on the other. So I will most likley use my Kreg on the drawers that I will be building for a set of night tables. I would love to learn the dovetail jig, but just do not have the time to figure it out for this project. That and Kreg just plain rocks!

Yea the Kreg jig removed a slew of possible errors that I could have made.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
