Thanks Jim, I appreciate the advice, but these are for customers and I leave that for their plumbers and granite folks to deal with. Most customers want to see a solid cabinet and that's what I give them.
Excellent job Justin! They look great.
Just a tip, You can save yourself some plywood if you use stretchers for the tops (and backs if you want) of the lower cabinets and it makes it easier to install sinks and plumbing lines as well.
nice job keep up the good work
What can I say....excellent work !!!
Thanks David and Steven, I really appreciate it. The corner was a bit of a pain, but it all worked out.
nice job on the Oak cabinets there big down here in Missouri.
Justin, Great job on the cabinets. They are beautiful. I like the inlay doors and the corner section. Thanks for sharing.
The color is amber dye stain from General Finishes.
Thanks Tom, I appreciate it! I think it stains very well and I love the grain structure of it, I should have photos soon from the homeowner, they are being installed today.
Jay,
Thanks so much, it does have some of the same tendencies of Hickory for sure! This was a special project for me, my son-in-law helped and I taught a friend of mine who does woodworking how to make the doors, so kudos to both of them. Thanks again for the comments!
Justin, excellent job with these cabinets, like the color and grain in the material. Doesn't white oak remind you of hickory? It has the same hardness as that of hickory and some of the machining qualities as well.
I am currently doing a large job in red oak but I sure miss that hickory. Nice work Justin, they are very attractive and well planned.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
