Oh, I didn't realize that it was a child's chair. I'd like to make a standard adult chair. I can extrapolate for that. I think that your rockets are a great idea; flat on top and curved on the bottom, plus no chance of flipping over (expecially for a child). All 2X timber I presume. Probably could give the seat and back a bit more of an angle, what do you think?

Thanks. The rockers need a little work but as far as the chair the back legs are 18" the front legs are 13" the 3 seat slats and 3 back slats are 14" then the arm rest and bottom slats are 6" but you can adjust all of that to fit your child. When I work out the glitches with the rockers I will post what I come up with.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
