Ken in answering you second question.  I'm glad you like the beaded face frame as it does add some to the furniture piece.  It is making a come back in my area even for cabinetry.

In doing this I have a system of which I notch the stiles and  point the rails and add a bead to both.  The bead is not a seperate piece of material added to the stile, as the old system, but is cut into the single piece.   If you recall the old system required you to build the face frame as a conventional frame and then cut seperate  beads attaching them to the frames using glue and nails.  The rails and stiles are attached using glue and kreg screws.

About the drill/driver, yes they are bosh.  I have both a drill and then a seperate driver.  I like them as I have big hands and big hands and a big drill have a dificulty in getting into small places.  These are compact and have a positive trigger and torque settings.  I use these for assembly finding them to be an excellent choice.

Good morning Ken, In answer to your first comment about the drawer material.  What you are looking at in the posted photo is the face of the drawer box.  The drawer front is seperate of these and is another 13/16 " piece of alder stock that is attached using screws.  The material you are seeing is a butcher block style of 1/2 inch alder drawer stock that I purchase as a sheet of material and cut them to size.  The customer I am doing this for wants a solid alder chest with alder drawers.  I dove tail the drawer box together and then add the front.  They are still full inset drawers running on full extension ball bearing slides.  The work can be a challenge as everything in the build depends on your accuracy with measurments and keeping everything square from the case work through out the installation of the drawer slides, drawers and fronts.  It is more difficult that doing a overlay drawer system but then not as attractive especially in furniture.  I give credit to the kreg screw and pocket screw technology as I believe that the real secret in such a build is the material staying in place  where you place it  and does not move about like it can if nailed.  For strength everything is glued and screwed.

I am anxious to get the project done but have other jobs that are in front pushing on me to complete.  When it is completed I will post its completion.

Also, the cross frame members---

and how you've joined them into a dado---

or were they butted and then followed by affixing the bead. 

Is that the Bosch drill/driver?

Nice tool---love it.

Small & compact, with plenty of power.  

The torque adjustment is smooth and consistent---

set-it-and-forget-it.

Interesting drawer front pattern appearance.

Did you make the joined boards or can they be purchased?

Thanks Ken, drawer fronts are now installed so it looks a lot different.  Hope to have it done soon.  Other jobs ahead will dependon when I get time to finish it .
