Thanks to all that commented on my desk. It was a fun project and the Kreg Jig made it much easier to construct. Alot of you have asked for the plans. I got them online from knockoff projects. But when I went back to this site I couldn't find it again. But that is fine because the deminsions they gave were all wrong and I had to make adjustments anyway.
This desk is made up of three separate parts. The two cabinets and the top. The deminsions on the cabinets are 18 1/2 in. wide with a 1 1/2 in. face by 23 in deep and that includes the face by 24 1/2 in. tall. As you can see I put only one drawer in the cabinet but you could put two or just leave it open on the top and bottom. You can see there is an stretcher about in the middle of each cabinet. I also added a back to give it more strength. I also put a couple of 1x4 on the top just to be able to secure it to the desk top.
The desk top is comprized of 3 pieces. The two ends are the same size 23 1/2 in. wide by 24 in. long. You could make it longer than the 24 if you wanted it a little bigger. The center piece is a square 38 x 38 with a corner cut out on a 45. Make this cut at 23 1/2 in. I used the pocket holes to join these 3 pieces together. I also put 1 x 4 the length of the desk on the bottom to give it more support. I also used 1 x 3 to put an edge on the desk top. The I used my router to create a round edge.
I used one sheet of 3/4 in birch plywood for the top. If you are careful you can use another sheet for the two cabinets. I liked the grain on the birch so I just laquered the three parts.
I hope this helps you build this desk. It was a fun project that turned out just what I wanted. It is a joy to sit at my computer and appreciate this desk. Again without the Kreg Jig this would of been a much more difficult job. If I can anwser any other questions drop me a note and i would be happy to help you.

Now what have I done?!?lol.
(note to self:always make plans in case someone asks)
So William...how are those plans coming along?
Seriously, people,I thought I was the only one who really, really liked it(besides William of course)
I am reno'ing my basement and I am moving my pc down there and it's going in a corner and that desk just screams to be put there:). I couldn't have thought of a better model than the one above.
Great job William!
