Built this bookcase for our son and his family, made with Kreg jig system (first project with). It is made as two stacked sections (made for easy transport to Cary, NC in passenger car). Was assembled on site in back of bookcase, then bolted to interior wall. So it can be removed easily should he wish to take with them on their next house move.

Designed bookcase myself.  Has two fixed shelves (bottom, middle) and four adjustable shelves with sturdy bookshelf pegs (each peg can hold over 100 lbs of books-four pegs per shelf used).  Made of pine and stained with Minwax (Provincial).  When joining the two bookcase sections together, I used the Kreg jig to connect them together (solidly).  I can't say enough about how great the Kreg jig system worked for this project.  Proof of success, son's whole family just loves it!!!  Son is thinking of adding another?
