Hey Jim,

I did not use corner 2x2 as discussed but rather joined plywood sheet to plywood sheet useing the Kreg pocket  hole. I used it everywhere on all my joints. As for the plywood I just went with a snaded Birch plywood from my local Woodcraft store also at Lowes and Home Depot just to insure there wasnt as many splinters. Look forward to seeing your pictures. !!!

Thanks Brian, think is best to take my plan l drew up and wing it.  What l was wondering Brian to secure the 2 ends and 2 sides to each other to make box.   Would l be ok in putting a 2'' x 2'' inside each of the 4 corners,  then using my kreg jig3 to screw inside the panels to the 2x2 corner blocks.

I was thinking of as well securing floor using my kreg jig or should l secure panels to the 2x2 blocks from outside then put 1x2 around outside to cover screws?

I am ordering from rockler the child secure toy box hinges just not sure if l should use 2 or 3 hinges from rockler?

Brian should l use 3/4'' plywoodwood for everything or join 1'' x 4'' with kreg screws also wondering when making for small kids is their a certain wood l should use?

Could you give me your view on the above thanks Brian.

James I dont have any steps I just flew into this kind of blind and bult as I went. I did set my parameters around the size of a 4'x8" sheet of plywood and let things fall from there. I would imagine a rail would be easy just would keep you from going up against a wall due to the hieght of the rail. Have fun and Thank you.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
