Jim,

Good score on the mahogany.  I'm getting some white elm that was used to ship very large light standards from back East.  They are 2-3/4" thick x 5-1/2" wide x 8' long and they don't have many knots.  The wood is still green, so it's going to be a couple of years before it's usable wood.  Planning to make a work bench from this wood.
