The headboard is made up of 3 kitchen drawer fronts pieced together with pocket holes. Then capped with a 1x2 with 1/4 " overhang. The base of the bed frame is made up with 1x6' pine lumber.

Thanks! ~ You can still see the sample tag on the one on the far right, they were being sold at the re-store for $4 each, solid hardwood. Since they all had the same profile and happen to be the right width to make sense with this size bed, I thought why not up-cycle these...

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
