48 in wide top. 12 in deep. Overhang on front and both sides. Flush to back. Legs inside this frame. All this from memory as it's in Iowa now, ha.

Thanks for the info, that helps give me an idea of the size. It looks like the 2x2 under the top are a little larger than the frame, but smaller than the top. Maybe 44" or so?

Jonathan, you are correct about the lumber sizes. Glad you liked it. Do not have any plans or dimensions. Gave this hallway bench to our granddaughter in Iowa. Just smacked it together to fit what she wanted. Used pocket holes to fasten down the top to top frame. Screws everywhere else as 2x2 doesn't leave much room. Bottom slats fastened down (18 gauge pin nailed). Ripped the 2x2's from stud lumber. 1x2's on slats were leftover from other projects.  Purchased top 1" 12x48" pine from Lowe's precut stuff.  Min wax stain and varnish. Thinking of making another a little larger for daughter-in-law's garage entry way to fit over/into a rubber boot tray they have there.

I love your bench design and execution! Do you mind sharing the dimensions, or if you have plans? I've been wanting to make a bench similar to this for a TV stand, and this almost looks perfect! I'm guessing you used 2x2s for the legs and runners, 1x2s for the cross-slats, and is that a plywood top? Nice work!

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
