This is the second kreg project. I had several 2x10's recovered from a church stage that was torn down. I ripped them into 2x4's and used the old flooring as shelves and a top. I love to recycle wood! Why buy? BTW..I am both a messy cook and woodworker. I built this worktable and two end pieces in just a day and a half with the Kreg jig!

hi kim just an idea i have a 16x25 garage that i use mainly for a wood shop but all my equipment is mobile. i repurposed some dumpster cabinets lol and built two more workbenches on lockable casters .one had my contractors tables saw countersunk in it or i could take it out and drop in my router table to further extend my counter top area. this setup enables me to utilize my shop to its max capacity.just something to think about when building shop equip.

I agree! There are so many workshop projects I want to get to! I love building anything for storage!

A workshop should be Clean enough to be safe and dusty enough to be Happy. You should make some boxes on wheels to slide under your bottom workbench shelf. That sounds like another Kreg project.

OK I will sweep and repost this picture! hee hee
Good eye on the Christmas power thingy. It was what I had on the shelf for quick use and has been there since. I didn't have to take it down for Christmas because we didn't put up lights this year. We were without power for 8 days!!! Before next Christmas I guess I will invest in a power strip like you suggested.

Do you have to shut the workshop down when you put your Christmas lights up? I would suggest a mountable power strip and install it with the plugs facing down- keeps dust out of the unused outlets and keeps cords out of harms way if you bump into them. Glad to see you had dust on the floor in this shot- your other pictures made you look like a "clean freak".

I still need to spend some time on the electrical aspect of my workstations! Suggestions welcome!

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
