Thanks, I am now thinking maybe I can make 2 skinny tables, store one on each side of the room and slide them together for a full size table when family comes. Trying to keep the dining room open as I have a window seat built into one side. Thanks for your help.

hey Sherry K,,,   you don't need a pattern or plan to make something like this the way you want!!   just figure out what size you want,,  the buffet table needs to be 36 inches tall and the other table that slides underneath should be table height 31inches tall,,,

This table pattern looks like what I am looking for. I want to build 2 of them, one a little smaller so I can store one on top of the other one (like a buffet) against the wall. Then when I need one or the other I can use the floor space I have. Is there a pattern like this? Simplified I like...

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
