I am really happy with this project and it looks like it will hold up well. Usualy the first thing people do when they see it is take it for a test drive adults included. So far so good! It only took my son all of one hour in use before it was sticker covered and crayon colored, haha.
Appreciate the comments, have fun!
That's a great looking set of kid's table and chairs! Look really sturdy, should last long and get plenty of use. The kids will be proud and feel great to have their own little space. Great work Shawn!
Finish? Sometimes when I had built something that I wanted to put to use right away I didn't bother with a finish. But there were times I did put stain and overcoat on a project, but so many hours (even days) to wait for it to dry or cure, especially with multiple coats, what a pain. :)
Thanks James, It is always great to finish a project beacuse the list just keeps getting bigger as time goes on!
Gee, if I was a young boy again I wouldn't mind being told to go sit in the corner, now that it has table and chairs.
Looks great!

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
