Nice looking table. One important piece of furniture that you need for your living room is a coffee table. The choice of coffee table can add or change the look and style of the living room in anybody's home.
Robert ,your welcome and thanks for the tips , JIM
Thanks James and Michael. My method is whatever method it takes. Mostly a heavy hammer and a thin pry bar, followed by a thicker one after I open a gap. On tough oak with spiral nails, I just take my time because I find distressed oak with wormholes and imperfections very desirable. If I do snap a nail head, I inject some high quality lubricant at the nail hole and pull it with a large pair of channel locks. If that doesn't work, I drill a hole right next to the nail with a bit that is slightly larger than the nail, and tap the nail in that direction, and again, pull it with channel locks. This works nine times out of ten.
