This is my first project with the Kreg Jig. SInce I do not own a table saw my goal was to avoid ripping or panel cuts. THe table was made of #2 pine 1X4, 1X3 and 1X2. Got lucky with the top. My neighbor was getting a new kitchen and he gave me a corian scrap from the old counter top. If you take your time picking through the #2 boards at Home Depot you can find plenty of clear wood on at least one side. Of course the edges are not finished but most are not exposed in this project. The few that were I just sanded.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters.  What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much.  Thanks.Continue
