lol tomboy, the delivery charge would be more than the wood, dont wont to brag, but i have over 400 1x4x48 inch oak fence boards and some true 3x7 inch oak beams from a 1800s barn, true gold for a woodworker. all the wood was free, but i owe the owner of the barn an oak table, already have the legs he will supply all the other wood, yes the legs were free also, turned 4x4. dont know how i got so lucky!!!

WOW! I'm suffering from lumber envy

i think it might, lol. when i bought the pile it was four feet by four feet and a little over 3 feet tall. packed tight. all was finished to 3/4 inch, 1x4, 1x6 and 1x8 boards anywhere from 16 inches to 48 inches long. i paid $200 for the popular and $250 for the oak. the saw mill has since closed but i may call them anyway and see if they have any more. great size pieces for my type of projects.

Does the fact that i find that pile of lumber sexy make me a wood-nerd?
