I made one similar to this. Like you say, it is cheap and easy to make.

The combo is impressive...but i'm just learning how to use it.  I don't like fiddling with the fence and fine tuning it (i'm an instant gratification kind of guy)....i like the single fence like what you've done...in fact, i think i've found a project for tonight.

i made this years ago, space was limited. it does a nice job, the other router table is nicer, just cause of the larger top. i would have bought a nice one like yours, but at times i cheap and if i can make it instead of buying it, i will try to make it first. let me know how you like your combo.

I just paid big bucks for a Freud router and router table combo and and i gotta wonder if I really need something so fancy...I bet yours works just as well, if not BETTER! lol
