Thanks...the wire was bought from Van Dykes Restorers.  They have various styles and sizes.

The contrast between the dark wood and the nickel and wire really makes the console pop. You did a fine job of also closely matching the floor with the console.

The wire grille is very elegant. This photo inspired me to look into the idea for my own projects. Nicey, but pricey.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
