Looks great Kelly! It should survive any abuse your granddaughter can dish out, too.

Got some nice cherry boards from the local saw mill. Used the Kreg Jig to make the wide boards for the top and the box sides. Was going to be and is a play table for my granddaughter but when my daughter and son-in-law got rid of their old coffee table because it had a glass top and rickety I changed it up a bit and made the toy ledge a little lower. Turned out pretty good. They all liked it. The baby likes sitting in the boxes.
Kelly, great idea and with a practical function build in an attractive way. The table looks sturdy and the rail around the top should provide security for items on the table. Like the toy boxes with the nice hand holes that make these boxes unique and attractive from the plain box. I can see alot of time spent here and alot of talent is shown as well. Thank you for sharing your work.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
