King Size Platform Bed Top View
The two side rails and the foot are true 1"x7 1/2" knot free yellow pine. A fourth had some minor splitting, so I used from HD a 5/4" x 7 1/2" at the head. There was a knot or two on this, so it is at the head. I used 1 1/2" Kreg picket screws.
The Side rails are 76 7/8" long and the head and foot boards are 76" long.
All boards were sanded and have three - four coats of oil based semi-gloss polyurethane.
