Tim Thank You for a nice comment towards my work. It is learned by lots of though and practice and I have no doubt that you will be making some very fine furniture, You have just finished your first and each time you build another it becomes not only easier but you will begin to find new ideas and methods. You certainly put that beaded pine to some very nice work and ended up with a very attractive bed and you can't ask for more. Keep up the good ideas and excellent projects will come from it.
Jay, I appreciate the comments. I certainly admire your work and hope I can someday make furniture even half as well as you. I hope it will look even better once I get it sanded and finished. This project gave me the opportunity to get rid of some beaded pine t&g paneling I've had sitting around for years. I originally bought it to panel a particular wall in the house but my wife changed her mind and it's been sitting in my workshop, still in shrink-wrap.
Hi Tim, very nice bed construction. It definately has a personallity of it own and looks well designed and constructed. I like the wood grains in the headboard and foot. Thank you for showing your work.

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.
I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.
First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
