Yes, all-purpose little bench. You could make them any size you like but watch out for proportions. Personally, I don't like stacking furniture of any sort but, to each his own. As well, careful of the size; you don't want to compromise strength / structure.

I think these would also make nice seats too. You could make different sizes so they "stack" on top of each other like stacking tables.

Hello James, yes, you can stand on it. By virtue of the shape and design it become monolithic so to speak. I used the 1.25" selftap coarse screws of course and some glue

actually very simple. Easy and fast to make with dimension lumber and pocket holes
