Thanks again James. I used the router bits I have for shaker doors and essentially made 4 doors for sides and then made the edges tongue and groove to fit all 4 sides together. I do like the look of the oak that I got, this is rift sawn so it doesn't have so much of the cathedral in it. It is very simple and clean. The walnut is hard to put in a room unless you have other dark furniture I think. The color is a Cabot stain called Paprika.

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters. What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much. Thanks.Continue
