Just look at the web page I posted and it shows how to use the jig to install the plugs.

Thanks Scott.   I  am using a kreg jr.  Is there anything on that to help put them in correctly?  I like your chest-I am doing a toybox for my grandaughter using all red oak boards.

You want to install then then sand them flush and then put the finish on. If you are using a Kreg Mini Jig there is a recess on the jig to help with installing the plugs. It shows it on this web page

as a beginner of the kreg world would I put the plugs in before I sand the oakk board for finishing or after I am done and ready to finish?  Also should I glue them in?
