Ethan I am sorry for not replying previously, have been off the site for a while taking care of some family matters. Back to the woodworking world now hopefully. I ordered the plans on line from wood workers woodshop

Are the plans for this chest available somewhere? What kind of wood did you use? Great job it looks amazing. Thank you!

The cover is built with a brad nailer. I guess if I thought it out I could have done all pocket holes but plans called for brad nailer and 32 seperate pieces of wood. I only figured the angles because they were on the plans. There is a video on here for picture frames, and I have seen some round tables with pocket holes. It can be done, also check youtube.

I love this ... but I do have one question.  I've been wanting to make something like this, and in the Kreg dvd, it says to go to the website (kregtool.com) for more information on angle and curve joining, but after about an hour on the website, all I could find was the same video/information that the dvd has. Same video that says to go to the website.  So how can I find information about angle joining?  Im totally new to angles and would like to know what degree to cut at, or how to figure out what degree I want, and more so, was settings to use on the jig to get the right pocket holes in ... thank you in advance.

Thanks, first real project in a long time. Lid wasn't as hard as I thought, just time consuming as it is made up of 33 pieces and had to be cut with 3 degree angl on both sides and I don't have the most accurate saw or ability. Son was happy with it and thats all the I wanted. I also got 3 requests for them.

That's a great looking chest, and that top is quite impressive

Finished project, resulted in a happy grandson. And yes that is in the kitchen as the workshop is unheated. NH weather in December is not accommodating for finishing in unheated space.

Free Hand Guard (dust collection)

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone has used the Woodpecker Free Hand Guard for dust collection on their bench top router table during pattern routing.  How effective is it?  It's adaptable to any router table.  Continue

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
