I look forward to seeing your pictures, it sounds interesting. I use Stripeze stripper. Where did you find the old cabinet?
We share same interests I do some re-purpose work.Im doing a 1950;s cabinet right now.It had 3 drawer on one side and door on other . I removed the drawers and replaced with a shelf and took the door off burnt it and built 2 doors from my barn wood collection and used 1/4 wire mesh for panels. Then I sprayed them okra ( golden yellow),and this evening I watered down some burnt umber almost ink consistency and brushed on top of okra then let it sit for couple minuets and lightly drag off just to turn it to a mellow color that looks like veins going through . Should have pictures sometime this week.
What brand stripper are you using
