This is a project from EZ build that I'm making for my mom's 60th Bday. She has always wanted one, I looked online, again price was astromical, and was put together very poorly. This project is made from pine, 1x4s around the base, 1x6's roof shingles. I used my kreg for the rafters, I used 1 inch silver roofing nails to hold the band on, which is the material used for earthquake proofing your water heater!! after scouring the Depot it was the closest thing I could find to the pic. All parts were sanded and stained prior to assembly. I will put some Thomas' on it, one coat, and am working on the spindle to add tommorrow. I will use a hanging plant instead of a bucket. I love learning things, and I loved working on this....In fact, I have my first order! I spent including hardware, 65 bucks. I took a deposit of 100 today and will recieve 200 total when completed. YEah!!!
