Richard, this is one nice looking piece of woodwork. The grains of the wood is displayed in a eye catching way that you want to just look at the stunning grain patterns. The finish does make this a shinning example of your talents. I like the dark contrast of the lid band and the long dark tear drop accentes of what I believe to be pocket holes. They really add a classic look to the total piece. The large brass lock hasp also adds a statement of being rugged and strong protecting valuables theme.
You have defiantely mastered this project in a magnificent way. Thank you for sharing your craftsmanship with this project. It is second to none.

I making a hex ring out of 2x4s ripped to 2 ¾ inches wide with 30 degree miters. What setting on the Jig should I used? 1 ½ is too much. Thanks.Continue
