I got tired of kneeling down on one knee to add or remove items from my
smoker so I put the Kreg jig to work building this stand. The stand is 20
x 20 inches and raises the smoker 27 inches up off of the patio. Caster
wheels on the bottom of the legs make it easy to move around. For
convenient work space while loading or unloading the smoker I added an 18
inch pull out full extension shelf. The 4 x 4 construction gives the stand
great stability ballast.
The Kreg Jig made this a fun 2 hour project!

This type of smoker is cool to the touch on the outside of the unit. No worries at all about this type of smoker being on a wood stand.
Thanks for the kudos. Very much appreciated.

Excellent build, Rob. I like the choice in wood. Kudos.
Any fire concerns with the smoker being on a wooden stand?

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
