Built this for a friend. It will sit on a short post in her front yard with a sign: 'Take a Book, Leave a Book.'

It was built mainly from one sheet of plywood, with simple construction techniques. The roof will get copper cladding, and the door insets will be clear so that the books can be easily viewed.

It will accommodate books up to 12 inches by 12 inches, with children's books on the lower level, fiction and non-fiction in the middle, and art books on the top shelf.

This is a very nice piece you built.  We have a few locations in our neighborhood that participate in the book exchange. again very nice.

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
