Nope John, the legs are a 1x3 on the front and a 1x2 on the sides. There is a 4x4 block on the bottom to distribute the weight

Did you taper the legs? Can't tell very well from the photos. This is a great project for me since the only thing my wife has asked me for from my wood shop is a sewing table.

It's solid maple. I added a 4x4 block on the bottom with a 45 degree routed edge. The are straight, no taper but that would look nice

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
