Thanks for the comments. Gotta those vinyl stickups from Fathead. The other walls of my office have the Bruins and the Patriots. The Celtics.....they need to step it up before I send the coin for theirs :-)

Great idea. Great use of the KREG tool. I love the lifter arms and the Red Sox sign in the background of your profile pic.

Randy , very nice looking bed , lots of storage , like the way the top opens and the way you put the side walls around the top to hold the mattress  in place , saw that right away , good Idea , JIM !!

If you look closely at the top (check pictures with the top closed) you'll see that I added a set of 3" tall "side walls" around the entire perimeter to hold the memory foam mattress in place. The distance between them is exactly the dimensions of the mattress, 80" x 76".

Nice design Randy. What are you gonna use to keep the mattress attached to the bed? Velcro or is it gonna hold in place by gravity?

Miter Saw Recommendation 1 Reply

I’m looking to upgrade my miter saw. I’m willing to invest a good amount of money to get one with the precision pocket hole joinery requires. Would anyone like to offer a recommended model?

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…

Not Pleased With Pocket Hole Construction

Several months ago, I purchased the Kreg K4MS so that I could build the Lego Table as outlined on the companion "buildsomething" web site which exclusively uses pocket hole construction.  I have considerable experience with conventional…
