What a great idea! That is beautiful enough to go in the living room.

Drat, that is one more project I am going to have to put on my list. :)

Thanks, it is Red Oak finished in Provential Oak stain. It is built solely using pocket screws. I got the basic design from an old magazine of Handyman magazine or something like it. The original plans was much larger and my dog is tiny, so I just tooked photo and modified it as per my own plan. It has pocket doors which opens out of the way or can close to keep the little rat in the kennel. Top is solid oak as well as all other parts with exception of bottom, back and a small portion under each window on sides which I regret not using solid there also as an afterthought. The dog loves it.

My brother built one like that not too long ago. He used black plastic rods instead of dowels, but the concept is pretty much the same. Good job on yours! I like the curves you added to the door and windows.
