Howdy Josh,
Thank you for the compliment on my bench. I designed it myself after looking at some plans somewhere and borrowing some of their ideas.. Ipe is near indestructable so I thought it would make a good slab...So far after 7 or 8 years Im correct. I no longer have my CAD plans or Id send you a copy..Since I could only get 4/4 Ipe, I built a cross-hatch box frame for the Ipe slab to rest upon. I was able to get Ipe boarding used for high end decks and boardwalks...I ripped the roundovers square and glued them up..Make sure you wipe the joints good with acetone before you glue the stuff as it is oily...Then framed up the outside with white oak...Lag bolted the heck out of it as I was sure I would get some movement...but there wasnt enough to worry about...The end vise I think I got from Hartville Tool or Woodworkers supply..Legs and crosshatched support from 2x4 SYP. Good luck with your new project and if I can help let me know.

Ron that is an awesome workbench. Did you have specific plans you found for it? or did you design it? I am changing around my workshop right now and in need of a new bench bad.

New Kreg 720Pro

I saw the video Kreg put out for this new jig and had high hopes for it.

I purchased one today and am very disappointed with it.

First the docking station is extremely cheap. The plastic is pathetic. A Lego has more…
