James, thanks for the comments. For the dovetail cuts, I used a saw that I purchased off the Lee Valley website. There are several there to choose from, but I went with the Pax Gent's Saw for the price, and tpi (teeth per inch). Seemed to me to be the best of both worlds.

Also, a good idea is to go on youtube.com and search hand made dovetail joints, or something like that. there are some videos there that really get you steered in the right direction.

Hi Bob, Yes, I actually used the Kreg Jig Mini for the frame construction of this piece, as it was my first project using the Kreg System. Good trial run for sure, I think it turned out well. All dovetail joints were done by hand, also first time trying those! Cheers, Craig

Jig settings for 2 ¾ x 1 ½ boards with 30 degree miters?
